The largest cyberphysical systems that the SEI has Program Work Plans with (F35 and GBSD among others) are facing not just software development challenges but also a myriad of socio-technical challenges in navigating the acquisition eco-system. This panel highlights three aspects of the challenges for modernization and sustainment:
  1. the implications of the move from single product delivery to ongoing capability delivery
  2. the role of modeling throughout the acquisition lifecycle
  3. the effect of Dev*Ops on an ongoing capability delivery mindset
