CMU SEI Research Review

At the SEI, we have developed a line of research that improves both the state of the art and the state of practice to design and analyze cyber-physical systems. Through AADL and ACVIP, we address both system and software concerns (safety, security, performance and code generation. Analytical frameworks based on AADL evaluate system integrability prior to the performance of actual integration testing activities. As of today, these do not integrate the physics of the system. In this project, we want to study the interplay between physics models (using Modelica and the FMI standard) and AADL models to improve virtual integration.
